I wish...Good enough is not good enough for our students; instead, they should have the best.
Every student is capable of maximum academic, social, and personal effort, and is more likely to achieve such effort with consistent inspiration, demand, and love from a trusted adult. My students and I are the force of change in our world. Now is the time, not later. It is my job not only to promote student learning, but also to cultivate students’ self-efficacy. Each student I work with, by the time they leave the classroom, will say and believe, “I can do it!” We are lucky to have each other, because learning is a beautiful dance of mutuality, trust, and determination. |
